Reserving Equipment

This system is still in the testing phase and not everyone has access. If you would like to use Asset Panda to book equipment, please submit a ticket: helpdesk.renison.ca

To reserve bookable equipment, please use our Asset Panda system

  1. Log into Asset Panda: https://uwaterloo.assetpanda.com

  2. Go to the Calendar section

    1. The first time you access the Calendar, you may see the following prompt. Please click Cancel

  3. Click on Reserve

  4. Enter in the Start Date/Time and End Date/Time for the reservation and then click Next

    1. Note: If your booking is for the evening, please book the equipment until 9am the following day

  5. In the Reserved For field select your name or the person you are reserving the item for

  6. Once the Reserved For field has been filled, the bookable assets will appear. To select an item to reserve, check the box beside it. Multiple items can be chosen.
    Please note that only items that are available will be able to be reserved; greyed items are not available to book.

  7. After all items have been selected, click Next

  8. Enter in the Event Title and let us know if you need us to set up the equipment or not for you.
    If you need IST to set up the equipment, please specific the location.

     

  9. Once filled, select Next

  10. Review the details of your reservation and enter in any additional comments. The Notification will send you a reminder before the reservation time based on the time you select. The default is 30 minutes before.
    Select Confirm

  11. Once the request has been successfully submitted, you will see a reservation confirmation code

IST will review your request and either approve or decline the reservation.

If you do not require IST to set up the equipment for an event, please come to the IST office (REN 0212) to pick up the item(s) at the reservation time.
