Sponsorship is incredibly important to the team. Without it, everything else that we want to do becomes impossible.

The following section provides details on our sponsorship process, including types of sponsorship, how to get sponsored, and how to track sponsors.

There are two main types of sponsorship on the team:

  1. Specific Component or Service

This involves reaching out to potential sponsors for a specific part or service, such as payload machining.

  1. General Sponsorship

For this type of sponsorship we reach out to university entities, such as WEEF or MEF, or private companies in order to secure cash funds for more general use on the team. Sometimes these funds will still come with restrictions, for example WEEF funding that can only be used for propulsion equipment, but it is not restricted to a specific component.

All of our potential, attempted, and successful sponsors are tracked using the sponsorship tracker. In addition to keeping an updated list of our current sponsors for promotional materials, it also tracks information of sponsors in order to help us reach out to them again in the future.
