Use an email that has been set up with a dedicated fax number

  • If you require a dedicated fax line or would like a fax line configured to email please have your department administrator submit a request ticket to enable this service.

Incoming faxes can go directly to a dedicated fax number via an email address. If incoming faxes are to be directed to an email address, you must set up a general email account that would be monitored by one or more people.

A Department fax number

  • Have a fax number that can be directed to a dedicated email address or department fax machine

    • Please check with your department administrator for the fax number and instructions

    • If you require a dedicated fax line or would like a fax line configured to email please have your department administrator submit a request ticket to enable this service.

Alternatively, the University’s Central Stores department provides a fax service. For more information please see their website: https://uwaterloo.ca/central-stores/fax-service
