Isolation Valves
Overview
Isolation valves can be identified as valves which stop the flow of a medium to a specific area. These valves can be opened or closed to allow the flow from one region to the next to be stopped [1]. This flow can then be diverted to another area or be stopped entirely for safety and or maintenance [2].
