Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) License Information
Due to the relevance of many Adobe applications to a number of Arts Faculty coursework, the Arts Computing Office offers discounted licenses to the Adobe CC Suite of programs.
About the licenses
A license to the Adobe CC suite allows access to the full versions of the majority of Adobe’s software, as well as digital resources like fonts and colour palettes. Licenses can be installed on any number of devices, but can only be active on one device at a time.
Adobe CC licenses are primarily offered through the ACO on a:
yearly license costing $233 (UW Community); and
termly license costing $97 (UW Community).
Occasionally, differing license lengths are also offered. Yearly licenses reset on September 7th.
If Arts staff require the software for tasks related to their role, which includes Acrobat since it is included in Adobe CC, please contact the ACO to obtain the software.
The ACO is also offering bulk (10+ licenses) transfers with the goal that your own technical staff can manage your own Adobe enterprise interface, providing your administrator the ability to release or turn-off access to those specific licenses. These bulk transfers are at a lower cost per unit through departmental account transfer and also don’t include tax.
Where to buy
Retail Services is managing the majority of the sales for the ACO, which can be paid by credit card, WatCard or departmental account number.
Please visit the WStore (search for Adobe) to see current pricing and to purchase a license.
For more information regarding purchasing a license, please see IST’s Article: Campus Adobe Options.
