Report Description
This report contains both summary and detailed information on scholarships.
The scholarship information provides detailed information of the scholarships in Quest by account attribute (Account, Work order, Activity and Student Type), broken down by student per month.
Data Security
This report is subject to the reporting access data control hierarchy used in Unit4. An individual’s position in the data control hierarchy, as well as the level of access (HR/Scholarship details or not) will determine how much or how little information will be returned when viewing this report.
Department Administrators have any role classification at the org unit level and above.
Report Contents
Filter Pane
Filters can exist for a single visual (visible when that visual is selected, unless filters are specifically hidden), for the whole page, and for all pages.
Most visual level filters are hidden, as the fields contained within them are available to filter at the page level.
Additional filters may be relevant based on the visualization that is active at a point in time.
Help Buttons
The info buttons are available on many of the pages in the report and include links to:
1) Power BI Report Instructions
On the landing page this directs to an instruction page in the report that gives high level guidance on the use and navigation of Power BI Reports.
2) The UW BI Notification App - a place for Finance to publish updates or information about service outages.
3) Guidance and Instruction Documentation - a link to this Confluence page instructions for the report.
4) Report an Issue in Jira - a link to submit a ticket to Finance about an issue with the report.
5) Provide feedback on this report - a link to a Microsoft Form to submit feedback about the report.
1) Report Page Navigator
Clicking on the buttons directs to the two other pages in the report.
2) Info Cards
Provide high level summary information on the scholarships that are being displayed in the chart below. These amounts are impacted by page & report level filters and by clicking bars in the chart below.
3) Fiscal Year, Term Slicer
Use this slicer to filter the years or terms for which data will be shown in the chart. By default, all years are shown. Click on the arrows to the left of a year to expand and reveal academic terms.
4) Scholarship Amount Bar Chart
A breakdown of scholarship amount by Bus Unit, Department, Org Unit, Work Order and Account.
Right-click on a bar to drill down to the next level or use the icons in the top right header to expand/drill down on all bars.
Right-click on a bar to drill through to a detailed scholarship information table, with the current bar context conditions applied.
5) Help Buttons
1) Scholarship Payments Matrix
This matrix shows detailed scholarship information broken down in the rows by Funding Source (Account, Work Order, Activity, Student Type, Work Order Name) and in the columns by Fiscal Year, Term & Month.
Users can expand or collapse rows using the plus and minus icons.
2) Back Button
Return to the start page.
1) Slicer Panel
Filter the data shown in the matrix by using slicers in this panel.
