Vendor of Record 2.0

This article outlines the plan details, including voice and data costs, roaming options, and device discounts.

The new VoR 2.0 plan, launching in January 2025, provides enhanced flexibility for staff members with no remaining contract terms. Starting January 27, 2025, eligible staff will be automatically migrated to this plan. Pricing is based on selected combinations of Subsidized or Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) plans and Domestic or US/Canada coverage.

  • Subsidized Flex Plan: Subsidized plans are used when users acquire a Smart Device at a discount.

  • BYOD Flex Plan: BYOD plans are used when users bring their own devices and require a SIM card.

  • US/Canada: For users who reside or travel frequently to the US.

  • Domestic: For users who reside in Canada. Roaming charges will apply if traveling to the US.

Domestic Plans

Domestic Voice plan includes Canada-Wide Calling. The new data plan is a flexible usage-based plan. All users start with zero usage, and if they stay under 300MB during a billing period, they are charged a low rate, such as $3.00 for BYOD users. If their usage exceeds 300MB within the same billing period, they move to the next pricing tier. The highest tier provides unlimited usage for a maximum charge of $9.00 for BYOD and $11.00 for Subsidized users.
