Add a Network Printer
If you came here because of the new network printers, please follow the the Disconnect a Network Printer instructions first. Then proceed to the Add a Network Printer instructions further down the page.
Disconnect a Network Printer
Click the Start button.
Type Control Panel and click the link to that app.
In the window that opens, click View devices and printers.
Find the printer you wish to disconnect, right-click it, and choose Remove Device.
Add a Network Printer
Click the Start button.
Type Control Panel and click the link to that app.
In the window that opens, click View devices and printers.
Click Add a Printer.
Click The printer that I want isn't listed.
Choose Select a shared printer by name and enter the path to the printer from the table at the bottom of this page.
Click Next.
Click Next.
Click Finish.
Repeat the above for any other printer(s) you wish to add.
