The kiosk only knows about appointments in the Ocean Portal; it does not read Accuro schedules directly. The Ocean Portal is set up to sync/pull our Accuro schedules on a 30-minute interval, for all configured providers. 

Testing

When testing you often have to sync/pull appointments manually:

  1. Add appointment in Accuro. Current Kiosk rules allow check-in no earlier than 30 mins before appointment, and disallow late check-ins, so schedule accordingly.
  2. Open Ocean portal at https://ocean.cognisantmd.com/login.do.
  3. Under the menu, find Cloud Connect.

    (It’ll ask for a second login, using the same credentials.)

  4. To sync/pull existing Accuro appointments into the Ocean portal, click one of the two sync options here:

    (I typically just sync Full Schedule, but I am only testing with the Administration provider. Once we’re syncing for all providers you might want to use “recent”.

That’s it. Because of the tight check-in boundaries, you have to keep moving the appointment as you test. And you have to re-sync after every change.

Adding Providers

Right now we are only syncing for the Administration provider. You’ll have to add more providers when you start piloting the kiosk. To do this, still in the Cloud Connect screen, click “EMR Integration”. It opens a pop-up. You can edit the list of synced providers under “Sync Appointments for Provider(s)”:
