Image blocks

Review the instructions on how-to create a Web page if needed.

How to add an Image block

1. From the administration bar, select Workbench then select My Dashboard.

2. In the Content list panel, select the content you would like to edit.

3. On the content page, select Layout. 

4. Select + Add section if applicable, then select + Add block.

5. Under Content, select Image.  

   Open

   

6. Change the block Title if desired and check/uncheck the Display title checkbox accordingly.

7. Under Image settings, select Full width or Sized image from the Type of image drop-down menu.

   1. Full width: This image will automatically resize to fit the width of the section they are assigned to on the content page. 

   2. Sized image: The Original sized image will have the same dimensions as the uploaded image, and the Custom sized image can have the dimensions of the image scaled to a desired height or width.

      1. If Custom is chosen as the Type of sized image:

         • Select the desired Dimension to scale from the drop-down menu (height or width).

         • Depending on the chosen Dimension to scale, enter the desired height or width to scale.

8. Use the drop-down menu to select the desired Image alignment.

9. Under Upload your image, select Add media.

10. Next, you can either use an existing image or add/upload a new image.

    1. To use an existing image: 

       1. Find and select the image you wish to use, then select Insert selected. You may also search for the name of the desired existing image.

    2. To add/upload new images:

       1. Under Add file, select Browse and choose an image from your device.

       2. Enter a Name and Alternative text.

          • Note: By default, the Name will be the same as the original file name.

11. If needed, Crop image and/or add a Caption.

12. Select Save.

13. Select Insert selected.

14. Select Add block.    

15. Select Save layout.

How to configure an Image block

1. From the administration bar, select Workbench, then select My Dashboard.

2. From the Content list panel, select the content you would like to edit.

3. On the content page, select Layout. 

4. Using your cursor, hover over the Image block you wish to configure and select the pencil icon that appears at the top right corner of the block.

5. Select Configure.

6. After making the necessary changes, select Update.

7. Select state from the Change to: drop-down menu.

8. Select Save layout.
