Social intents

The Social Intents block is a live chat solution for Slack and Microsoft Teams that allows interaction and engagement with website visitors using pop-ups, chatbots, chat widgets, canned responses, and more. 

Add a Social Intents block

  1. From the administration bar, select Workbench, and then select My Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the Content list and select the content you would like to edit.

  3. Select the Layout tab.

  4. Select +Add section if applicable, then select +Add block. 

  5. Under Content, select Social Intents.

  6. Enter a Title. Select whether you want it displayed by checking/unchecking the Display title box. The title will appear as a Block header if Display title is selected. 

  7. Enter your Social Intents username. This information is at the end of your standalone URL (e.g. https://chat.socialintents.com/c/livechatsi).

  8. Enter a Block ID (optional).

  9. Select Add block (Or Update if it is a pre-existing block).

  10. Select state from the Change to: drop-down menu.

  11. Select Save layout.
