About this service

IST provides online environments that support collaborative, interactive, cross-platform teaching and learning.

Adobe Connect

Adobe Connect will no longer be supported by IST as of May 1, 2022. Zoom is a comparable platform and is the recommended alternative. Access to Adobe Connect will remain until August 1, 2022 to download any content. See How to Download Adobe Connect Recordings.

An online environment that supports collaborative, interactive, cross-platform teaching and learning; well suited for teaching and learning applications with many interactivity features such as:

  • Sharing slides, presentations and applications, 

  • Text chat 

  • Two-way audio/video 

  • Question & Answer 

  • Polling 

  • Virtual meeting rooms with optional recordings 

  • Student feedback 

  • Break out rooms, etc.

Cisco WebEx

New requests for WebEx will be redirected to Zoom or Teams, unless there is a requirement that only WebEx will meet. WebEx usage and support may be reviewed again before the current licence agreement expires in December 2022.
