How to Download Adobe Connect Recordings

Adobe Connect will no longer be supported by IST as of May 1, 2022. Zoom is a comparable platform and is the recommended alternative. Access to Adobe Connect will remain until August 1, 2022 to download any content.

  1. Sign into summit.uwaterloo.ca

  2. Navigate to the specific class/section by choosing Meetings, then the desired class/section, then the recording tab

  3. Under Actions select Make Offline

     

  4. In the Wizard, select the options as shown.

    1. under Advanced Options, ensure the following settings are chosen:
      Resolution: 720p
      Quality: 90
      Profile: Main
      Bandwidth: 800kps
      FPS: 30

    2. Click Proceed with Offline Recording

5. Wait until the recording finishes downloading, this will be done once the player bar reaches the end of the video

6. Click Ok to finish the recording download.
