Wi-Fi Troubleshooting

  1. At the bottom-right of your Windows taskbar, click the globe symbol (represents no internet/Wi-Fi connection).

  2. Click the arrow (>) next to the Wi-Fi symbol.

  3. Click More Wi-Fi settings.

  4. Click Manage Known Networks.

  5. Click Forget next to eduroam.

  6. Now exit out, and go back and click the globe symbol in your taskbar (represents no internet/Wi-Fi connection).

  7. Click Connect.

  8. The system may then prompt you to enter your username and password. Please enter your UW email as username@uwaterloo.ca and its associated password.

  9. Click OK.

  10. Click Connect.

  11. If the internet still does not connect, shut the computer down completely and then restart it. Then repeat the steps above.
