Setting a limit on elements with options
Web forms can be configured to lock certain elements after a specific number of users have selected that option. This feature only works on Web form elements that provide the user with options and/or a checkbox. See Create and manage form components for instructions on adding elements to your Web form.
Select Workbench and the My Dashboard.
Under Forms List select the Build button for the web form you are wanting to modify.
Press Settings and then Email/handlers, then select Add handler.
Press Add handler next to Options/checkbox limit.
Under General settings enter a title for your handler
In the Element settings sections select the web form element you want to create a limit for from the drop-down under Element.
Under Test limit options, type in the amount of responses you want to allow for your option(s).
Under Option/checkbox settings section, select the drop down under Limit reached behaviour and select your desired action.
If Disable the option/checkbox is selected, the web form will still show this element to users, however they will not be able to select the option that has reached its set limit.
If Remove the option/checkbox is selected, this element will no longer display on the web form when user’s fill it out.
If Do not alter the option/checkbox is selected, then the element will continue to function normally.
You may fill in the message boxes with text that you want displayed.
Press the Message display drop-down to change the location of the messages on the web form
If your web form has multiple limits go to the Limit Settings section and type in the message you want displayed when all limits have been reached
Press Save at the bottom.
