Create a web form

The Web form content type allows you to create a fillable form on your site for users to submit. It can be implemented on a web page or any content type where adding blocks is enabled.

Before creating a web form, please refer to deciding what to collect on a web form to ensure the privacy and security of all users when gathering information.

There are two Web Form roles available

  • Form editor role: ability to create, edit and delete their own and all content in the Web form. They can also view form results/submissions.

  • Form results role: ability to view the form results/submissions found in the Results tab.

Note: Due to privacy and security considerations associated with web forms, it is mandatory that form editors complete the WCMS 3 Web Forms course on LEARN prior to having this role added to a live site.
