Task Description
The current A1 base plate uses 4 M8 screws to mount to the drivetrain
There are concerns about stability, so we want to redesign the A1 baseplate (MR22-A1-P0042) to have more mounting holes.
Task Breakdown
- Redesign base plate (MR22-A1-P0042)
- Ensure new base plate properly interfaces with chassis mounting plate (MR22-DT-P0097)
- Update CAD
- Select new fasteners, review design
- Fabricate base plate

Countersink fasteners would be preferred over counterbore fasteners
Too thin the metal (0.125” to have counterbore)
