Project search

The Project search block allows users to search for projects, by text or by elements, on a content page. For more information on the block, visit Project search in our Block library.

Create a Project search

  1. From the administration bar, select Workbench, then select My Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the Content list and select the content you would like to edit.

  3. Select the Layout tab.

  4. Select + Add section, if applicable. 

  5. Select + Add block.

  6. Under Choose a block, navigate to Searches and select Project search.

  7. If desired, enter a title. By default, the block title is Catalog search. The title will appear as a block header if Display title is selected.

  8. Select Heading level.

    • Note: Headings must be used in sequence and cannot be skipped (i.e. H1, H2, H3, H2 and cannot be H1, H3, H5). Headings are necessary for accessible content.

  9. Select a Project search options.

    • Text only: users can only search through text.

    • All options: users can search through specific elements, like Title or Audience.

  10. Optionally, enter a Search Description. This text appears underneath the search bar. Leave blank to have no description.

  11. Optionally, enter a Search placeholder. This text automatically appears in the search box. Leave blank to have no placeholder.

  12. Select Add block (Or Update if it is a pre-existing Block).

  13. Select desired state from the Change to: drop-down menu.

  14. Select Save layout.
