Facebook

The WCMS supports Facebook integration that allows users to add a single post or profile timeline to their content page. Copy (Ctrl + C for PC users; Command + C for Mac users) the entire URL path of the individual post from the search tab of your web browser.

 

  1. From the administration bar, select Workbench, and then select My Dashboard.

  2. Select a content page (for example a Web page) from the Content list or create a new page from Content types.

  3.  On the content page, select the Layout tab. Select + Add section, if applicable.

  4. Select + Add block.

  5. Under External embeds, select Facebook.

  6.  Enter a Title. Select whether you want it to display by checking/unchecking the Display title box. The Title will appear as a Block heading if Display title is selected.

  7.  Under Facebook feed type, select Single post from the drop-down menu. 

  8.  Paste (Copy + V for PC users; Command + V for Mac users) the URL path of the individual post in the Facebook URL field. 

  9.  Select Add block (Or Update if it’s a pre-existing Facebook Block).

  10.  Navigate to the top of the page and select the desired state from the Change to: drop-down menu.

  11. Select Save Layout.

 

Note: The view on Facebook link on the bottom cannot be removed.

  8.  Paste (Copy + V for PC users; Command + V for Mac users) the URL of the individual page in the Facebook URL field. Note: Paste everything that follows http://www.facebook.com

  9.  Select Add block (Or Update if it’s a pre-existing Facebook Block).

  10.  Navigate to the top of the page and select the desired state from the Change to: drop-down menu.

  11. Select Save Layout.

 Note: The view on Facebook link on the bottom cannot be removed.
