Blockquotes

Blockquote is a Block type that is used to format text attributed to a speaker. If you need to create a web page first, review the instructions on how-to create a web page.

How to add a Blockquote

1. From the administration bar, select Workbench, then select My Dashboard.

2. Navigate to the Content list panel and select the content you would like to edit.

3. On the content page, select Layout.  

4. Select + Add section if applicable, then select + Add block.

5. From the Content list under Choose a block on the right, select Blockquote.

6. Enter a Title. Select whether you want it displayed by checking/unchecking the Display title box. The title will appear as the heading for the Block unless Display title is unchecked.

7. Add the quotation in the Quote text body. Do not add quotation marks in the quote text. Quotation marks will be added automatically once the Block is added.

8. Add a speaker in the Quote attribution body. Do not add a hyphen-minus (-) in the attribution text. A hyphen-minus will be added automatically once the Block is added.

9. Select Add block.

10. Select state from the Change to: drop-down menu.

11. Select Save layout.
