Bypassing Fast Boot
Machines from the labs may have been setup with Fast Boot. This prevents you from entering BIOS settings.
Ensure that the computer is not connected to the network (Ethernet). The computer may attempt to use its old IP address, which would cause a conflict with a machine using that IP address now.
Boot the computer. Allow it to fully boot. The power button and the border should light up with blue light.
Power down the machine by pressing and holding the power button. Hold the power button until the power button light turns orange. It should take about three seconds.
