Integrate GitLab with Jira

1. Log into Jira using your UWaterloo account

Note: An existing Jira license and project will be required to achieve this

2. In Jira select your initials in the top right of the page.

3. A menu will appear, select ‘manage account’

   

4. From the header menu select ‘Security'

5. On the security page, select ‘Create and manage API tokens’

6. From the API Tokens page select ‘Create API token’

7. Provide a label for the API token and select ‘Create’

8. An API token will be generated, select ‘Copy’ and then select ‘Close’

   1. You will not be able to view the key in the future so ensure you have this copied before closing.
