The Bulk Edit form is your power tool for managing multiple assets simultaneously. Move them to new locations, add comments or descriptions, or assign them to specific users – all in a single action.

  1. Navigate to the Assets List page.

  2. Utilize the form filters to locate the assets you intend to edit.

  3. In this example, update the location for assets ranging from 230038 to 230040 to "PAS 2081."

  4. Select multiple assets by holding the Ctrl key on Windows or the Option key on Mac while left-clicking with the mouse.

  5. Once your assets are selected, click the "Bulk Edit" button.

  6. You will be redirected to the Bulk Edit form.

  7. On the left, view the list of assets selected for editing.

  8. The form will indicate the asset from which the default values are derived.

  9. Changes made to the form will be applied to the selected assets.

  10. Click on the Lock icon next to a field to modify its value; the new value will be applied to all selected assets.

  11. At the bottom of the form, you will find the "Unlock Fields" button, which will unlock all fields for editing. Exercise caution when unlocking all fields.

  12. Upon completing your changes, click the "Bulk Update" button.
