Arm Development Steps:
Goal: To have a functional ver. 1 of the arm before August 31st
- Determine arm requirements
- Select an arm concept
- Determine joint torque, speed and backlash requirements for each joint
- Make a basic prototype of the arm
- Test prototype and establish any flaws
- Make necessary mods to prototype and test again
- Design full arm
- Order parts and manufacture arm
- Assemble arm
- Test arm and find any flaws
- Make revisions to address flaws
