Overview

Vessels are enclosed containers that hold gases or liquids at a different pressure than the surrounding air pressure. They can be used in distillation towers, hydraulic reservoirs, containment of liquified gas, and containment of hot water. They are generally constructed from steel, mostly carbon steel and stainless steel [1].
