This article shows you how to assign a ticket in Jira Service Management
Step-by-step guide
To assign a ticket, you can click on the request name under the Summary column, in your queue. This will open the ticket.
You will see the Assignee field on the right.
You can search for a specific person and select them to assign them to this ticket. Once selected, it will automatically assign the ticket to that person.
