N: Drive Deprecation

N: drives are being deprecated by IST and will no longer be offered after April 2023. Please refer to IST's documentation for more information.

If you are not in ENV, then follow the instructions from your faculty for mapping your R: drive.

  1. If you are trying to connect from off-campus, you must first connect to the virtual private network (VPN).

  2. Open File Explorer and select This PC on the left panel.

  3. Click the three dots ⋅⋅⋅ in the toolbar, which is located near the top of the File Explorer window. Click on Map network drive in the dropdown.

  4. A new window will pop up. For Drive, select the drive letter R: in the dropdown.

  5. In the Server Address field, enter the R: Drive Directory for your group as listed in the table.

  1. Make sure to check the Reconnect at sign-in checkbox and then click Finish.

  1. A new window will pop up. Enter your credentials (for the username, be sure to add "nexus\" followed by your WatIAM username) and click on Remember my credentials as per below before clicking OK.

  1. If you are unable to connect to the R: drive, please restart your computer and try again.
