Power on the TV using the remote
Tap the spacebar to wake up the computer
Sign in to the Windows computer using your UW userid and password
By default the TV screen will be an extension of the desktop. This is useful for PowerPoint presentations when you want to see speaker notes at the podium. If you would rather have both screens show the same content hold down the Windows key and tap the P key and select Duplicate as the option.
When done:
Sign out of the podium computer
Power off the TV using the remote

Power on the TV using the remote
Get your computer ready to present - powered up, logged signed in and ready to go.
Connect HDMI cable from the side of the podium to your computer. If you don’t have an HDMI display port (or adapter) see the Reception area in Dean’s Office (BMH-3104) or Health Computing (BMH first floor hallway to SunLife auditorium).
Wait for the source to be detected by the TV
Using a Mac? We recommend setting your display preference to “Scaled” at 1080P or to the size the same size as your laptop screen.
When done:
Disconnect the HDMI cable from the laptop, wrap it in a loop and leave it on the shelf at the podium
Power off the TV using the remote

Power on the TV using the remote
Log on to the podium computer (or get someone else to log in to the podium for you)
Launch the Ditto Receiver application on the podium desktop
Back at the laptop, use a web-browser to navigate to https://connect.goditto.com and enter the room code BMH3119.
Follow the instructions on the webpage to connect your laptop to the in-room screen.
When done:
Disconnect from the screen in the Ditto application on the laptop
Sign out of the podium computer
Power off the TV using the remote
