- Build with ready available components and materials (we cannot machine anything ourselves, so limit manufacturing to cutting, drilling and 3D printing as much as possible)
- Order custom parts from sponsors and/or machine shops
- Order laser cut parts from student workshop
- This means we should design with these points in mind
- We could split the assembly between the people in waterloo, but I think one person should be in charge (1 destination for all orders, assembly is easier when components aren't all over the place)
- Have one person work on the controller assembly, one person work on the physical assembly (buy some extra motors so the person working on the physical assembly can test the motor fit)
- Other tasks: design tests, analyze results can be taken care of by other people
