titleBefore your first lab
  1. Get the door lock combination from your instructor or ask for it at the ETIS Help Desk.
  2. Make sure that you can logon to one of the computers in the lab.
  3. If you can’t logon make sure that the ETIS Help Desk knows that you are a teaching assistant (TA) in a course that uses the lab.
  4. Familiarize yourself with the computers and the features of the room.
  5. If you need whiteboard marker kits, those can be signed out from the ETIS Help Desk.

At the end of each lab session:

  1. Make sure that you turn off the projector. On the projector remote, press off twice. The green light on the projector will blink while it is cooling down.
  2. Log off your computer! Don’t leave any digital or printed answer keys for your students!
  3. Make sure that you close the door when you leave. If you are the last one leaving the room, turn off the lights.If you borrowed the whiteboard marker kit, erase the whiteboard and then return the kit to the ETIS Help Desk.
