General instructions for Mac

  1. Turn on the TV and laptop.
  2. Connect your Mac with the VGA cable or the HDMI cable that has been provided in the room.

Note: You may need to borrow an adapter from the MAD Help Desk located in Environment 2 (EV2) 1008.

Using the VGA cable

  1. Connect the adapter to your Mac and the VGA cable to the adapter.
  2. To enable sound, connect second wire to headphone port.
  3. On the right-hand size of the TV, change TV input source ( Input source icon on the remote. ) to "PC".
  4. Click menu bar icon ( Menu bar icon on the remote. ), select "Turn to Mirroring" and change resolution to the highest option.

Using the HDMI cable

  1. Connect the adapter to your Mac.
  2. Connect cable to adapter.
  3. On the right-hand side of the TV, change TV input source ( Input source icon on the remote. ) to "HDMI 2".
  4. Click menu bar icon ( Menu bar icon on the remote. ), select "Turn to Mirroring" and change resolution to the highest option.

General instructions for Windows

  1. Turn on the TV and laptop.
  2. Connect your Windows with the VGA cable or the HDMI cable that has been provided in the room.
