Users can securely print confidential documents from the Ricoh printers. The “Locked Print” feature requires a password to be entered on the printer’s control panel before printing, which ensures your confidential documents remain protected from other users.

Windows

  1. On a Word document, select File → Print.

  2. Click on “Printer Properties” link.

  3. To the right of the “Job Type” dropdown, click on the “Modify” button.

  4. Change the “Job Type” dropdown to “Locked Print”.

  5. Enter your WatIAM username on “User ID”, and a 4-8 numbers pin on “Password”.

  6. Click “OK”.

  7. Click on the “Print” button.

Mac

  1. On a Word document, select File → Print…

  2. Scroll down and click on “Printer Options” to expand the section.

  3. Click on Job Log, and change the “Job Type” dropdown to “Locked Print”.

  4. Enter your WatIAM username on “User ID”, and a 4-8 numbers pin on “Password”.

  5. Click “OK”.

  6. Click on the “Print” button.

At the Ricoh printer

  1. On the Ricoh printer, press on Quick “Print Release”.

  2. Select your WatIAM username, and enter the 4-8 number pin you entered earlier.

  3. Select the documents you want to print, then press the “Print” button.
