Profile list

Profile lists allow for different people and their biographies to be highlighted on any content page. There are two types of Profile list blocks, automatic and manual.

Profile list (automatic) displays published profiles in alphabetical order. Profile list (manual) allows users to choose which profiles they would like displayed and in a specific order.

To create a Profile, review the instructions on How to create a Profile. If you need to create a Web page, review the instructions on How to create a Web page.

Create a Profile list (automatic)

  1. From the administration bar, select Workbench, and then select My Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the Content list panel and select the content you would like to edit.

How to Align the Profile Teasers

The individual profiles on the Profile list may have uneven vertical spacing from one another. In the example below, the height of Catherine Fluffykins' profile is shorter than Professor Elephant's. The height difference can manually be corrected.

  1. From the Profile list, click on the name of the shorter profile. Note: In this example, it would be the profile of Catherine Fluffykins.

  2. Go to the Edit tab of the profile.

  3. Scroll down to the Summary.

  4. Use the Enter key to add additional lines in the Summary.

    • Note: The quantity varies based on the height difference between profiles.

  5. Scroll down and select Save.

  6. Repeat the process for any additional uneven profile teasers in the Profile list.

The resulting profile list is now aligned. Note: Adding additional profiles to the Profile list may unalign the profile teasers, which would need to be redited.
