Mailchimp

The Mailchimp Block type allows a site visitor to subscribe to a Mailchimp mailing list. You will need to create/customize the embedded form on Mailchimp before proceeding with the instructions below.

Generate an embedded form code

  1. On your Mailchimp site, select the Audience menu. From the drop-down menu select the Audience Dashboard.

  2. If you have more than one audience, select the Current audience option, and choose the audience you would like to work with.

  3. From the Audience drop-down menu select Signup forms.

  4. Select Embedded forms.

  5. If you would like to use the default form select Continue. You have the option to edit the form using the Form Fields, Settings, Tags, and Referral Badge menus. Email address is a required Form Field.

  6. Select Copy code.

Adding the embedded form code

  1. From the administration bar, select Workbench, then select My Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the Content list panel and select the content you would like to edit.

  3. On the content page, select Layout. 

  4. Select + Add section if applicable, then select + Add block.

  5. Under External embeds, select Mailchimp.

  6. Enter a Title. The title will appear as the heading for the Block unless Display title is unchecked.

  7. Paste the copied source code from the previous section, into the Mailchimp source code field. 

  8. Select Add block.

  9. Select state from the Change to: drop-down menu.

  10. Select Save layout.
