I’m an instructor, but I can’t see the editor dashboard!
The first time you log in to outline.uwaterloo.ca, the software checks to see if you’re currently registered to teach any courses. In some cases, the course you’ll be teaching may not be in QUEST yet, or from a previous term, and so it will assume you are a student. If this happens, you might see something like this:
In order to activate your account as an instructor, you can click Editor Access on the top-bar, and enter the code for a term you taught.
Term codes look like 1189, 1201, etc
The first number will usually be 1, followed by the last 2 digits of the year, and the final number is 1, 5, or 9 (winter, spring, fall)
So Spring(5) 2021 would be 1 21 5 → 1215
