Unable to enter Xerox print accounting code on a Mac

If you are printing to a Xerox copier with print accounting enabled and the popup window where you normally enter your account code is blank (see below), you need to update the printer driver on your Mac. A recent update to MacOS is not compatible with the previous Xerox print drivers.

Surprisingly, your document will likely print if you type the code when you see the blank prompt (nothing will appear but the code will be entered) and you can then click OK.
