If you receive the following error when trying to login to your computer after you’ve changed your password, then you need an Administrator to do the following.

Open Windows Powershell as an administrator and run the following commands:

  1. Test-ComputerSecureChannel -verbose

  2. ipconfig /release

  3. ipconfig /renew

Then have the user login with their new password.
