Project Objectives: The creation of an Arts-focused service through an unconventional campus business model, with a new faculty generated revenue stream that addresses sustainability goals through cooperation, collaboration, and collegiality among various campus stakeholders for us to collectively contribute to a positive “social impact”.
Documentation Workspace: Centrally capture workflow designs for the internal process (payment, exchange, updates, data flows) for Arts colleagues to purchase older IT equipment in collaboration with campus stakeholders: WStore, Sustainability Office, and Finance.

Meeting Purpose: review current workflow and solicit team feedback for process improvements Action items:

Meeting Purpose: diagram proposed workflow From this current state, we can identify process improvements and key areas mapping out a better future state as we move to partner with WStore, Finance, and Sustainability Office to provide an internal resell (second-life) model that keep financial value inside UW; builds a circular sustainable UW economy; strengthens UW partnerships; and provides a new value-add service to Arts employees. (Second meeting to be scheduled).
Once our workflow is developed, we would likely do a “soft” launch to work out the issues on older tech we have as we work through the process with WStore to develop a user-friendly, seamless process before our 3-year rollover machines come up for resell. |
