To practice as a Physician Assistant (PA) in Canada, you’ll need to:
Complete a PA education program recognized by the Physician Assistant Certification Council of Canada (PACCC).
Pass the PA Cert Exam (PACE).

What if I want to study abroad and return to Canada to work?
It is possible to pursue a PA degree in the U.S. and return to Canada to practice. In order to practice in Canada, you will need to:

Complete the PA Cert Exam (PACE).
Register with the appropriate provincial or territorial regulatory body and complete additional requirements as mandated by the College.
Note: If you pursue your PA degree in a country other than the U.S., you will have to complete another PA program in the U.S. or Canada to work in Canada.
