Conduct and record your Teams meeting

This section assumes you know how to create and start a Teams meeting.

  1. Be sure to record your Teams meeting by clicking More (…) then choose Record and transcribe and then Start recording.

  2. At the end of the session, stop the recording using the same method above you used to start it.

Save your video to SharePoint

Once the meeting is finished, the recording will become available in the meeting’s chat area.

  1. Open the meeting’s chat to find the recording.

  2. Right-click the recording and choose Open in Stream. Your video will open in Microsoft Stream in your default web browser (e.g., Chrome).

  3. In Microsoft Stream, find and click the Move to button.

  4. In the window that opens, click More places… on the left and then Counselling Services Training & Supervision on the right.

  5. Choose the Videos folder.

  6. Choose your specific folder.

  7. Click Move here. Microsoft Stream will move the video to this folder and may take some time to complete since these files are large. Please note that once the video file is done being moved, it may automatically start playing.

  8. Notify your supervisor that the video is in your specific folder in SharePoint.
