Overview

Separators are mechanical devices that are used to separate liquids, solids, and gasses. In chemical engineering, separators are used to filter and refine mixtures for various kinds of processes. Moreover, it's overall purpose is to purify and extract desired products through separation. The types of separators, and their specific applications are listed below [1].
