Overview

Instrumentation is a broad term that is used for any instrument that measures, or records physical quantities [1]. Devices labeled under instrumentation can be as simple as a thermometer, or as complex as industrial control systems, and can be found in almost every lab, factory, vehicle, or household. As this section is located in the Chemical Engineering Wiki, these subpages are focused on instruments used in chemical engineering.
