\uD83D\uDCD8 Installing the Scanner
The USB cable must be connected to the USB connection that has the USB symbol and not the abbreviation USB
Install the following drivers from R:\Tech Support\Applications and Drivers\ScandAllPRO
PSIPTWAIN-3_20_0.exe
SAPV218.exe, and when prompted for the serial number, type in AA8AA00062
Map the account to the L: Drive
Ensure the scanning is being saved to the appropriate location: L:\Health-Services-Scans\Fujitsu-6700-scanner
Setting up the Profiles/Name Rules
You will now be setting up four profiles. Note that once you create the first profile, you can copy it and make the necessary changes for the other profiles, as the name rules are the same for all profiles.
Open ScandAll PRO to add batch scanning profiles
Scan > Batch Scan Settings… > Add…
In Job Profile Name, enter Multi Page Double Sided
Change file format to Multipage Tagged Image File Format (*.tif)
Change scan type to ADF (Duplex)
Ensure Separate per is unchecked
Navigate to File format and Name scheme, and click on Name Rule…
Beneath Settings available click Date and Time then click >>(l) to move it to Settings applied; click Up to move the Date and Time to the first position
Beneath Page Counter: Start with 1, check off Reset to initial value after each scan(X)
Beneath Date and Time: Format=yyyymmdd, check off Add time, Date/time separator= ”-“ (Hyphen)
Change Character string1: “_” (underscore)
The Name Rule settings should then look like this:
In Job Profile Name, enter Multi Page Single Sided
Change file format to Multipage Tagged Image File Format (*.tif)
Change scan type to ADF (front side)
Ensure Separate per is unchecked
Adjust the Name Rule settings listed below step 3
In Job Profile Name, enter Singles
Change file format to Tagged Image File Format (*.tif)
Change scan type to ADF (front side)
Ensure Separate per is unchecked
Adjust the Name Rule settings listed below step 3
In Job Profile Name, enter Double Sided Single Document
Change file format to Multipage Tagged Image File Format (*.tif)
Change scan type to ADF (Duplex)
Ensure Separate per is checked and enter the number 2
Adjust the Name Rule settings listed below step 3
