Please follow these instructions to transition your Accuro account to an Accuro ONE ID so you can access Accuro Cloud.
Before you start, be sure you have:
Your cell phone
Your current Accuro login name and password
Access to your UW email
Go to accuro.cloud.
Click Transition to Accuro ONE ID.
Type in your Accuro credentials then click Start Transition.
Type in your UW WatIAM email address, NOT your “friendly” UW email address: bsmith@uwaterloo.ca ✅ bob.smith@uwaterloo.ca❌
Wait to receive the verification code at your UW email address.
Enter the 5-digit verification code you received from no-reply@qhrtech.com, then click Activate Accuro Cloud.
** If you do not receive the verification code, click RESEND EMAIL to try again.Enter a new password for your account that meets these requirements:
At least 8 characters
A lowercase letter
An uppercase letter
A number
Do not include parts of your username
Do not include your first or last name
Cannot be your last 4 passwords
When prompted to set up multifactor authentication, select the first option Mobile phone (Okta Verify App) and click Setup.
Select the type of cell phone you have then click Next. A unique QR code should be visible. You will need this later on.
Open the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iPhone) on your cell phone.
Search for and download Okta Verify.
Open Okta Verify once installed.
Press Add Account.
Press Organization.
Press Yes, Ready to Scan.
Your cell phone may ask for permission to allow Okta Verify to use your camera, ensure you enable this.Hover your cell phone’s camera over the QR code provided to you in step 9 to scan.
Press Allow to enable Push notifications from Okta Verify. Your cell phone may also ask you to provide Okta permission to send you notifications, press Allow.
You will then get verification that the account has been added. Press Done to complete.
You now have an Accuro ONE ID.
