In the example above, the student’s legal name is Clark Kent but would prefer to be referred to as Kal El. To ensure we know this, an Alias has been created in Accuro to store this information.

Note

There is also an option to add a preferred name using the button beside First Name. DO NOT use this as it will be wiped out by Quest.

Where to find the Preferred Name and Pronouns

Warning

WARNING: The Alias field does DOES NOT display in the Scheduler, so it is vital to imperative that you click the patient’s appointment to load the patient and review the the Demographics Status Bar to see if there is an Alias or Pronouns you should use.
