Step-by-Step instructions

  1. Browse to https://ts-officelinx3.private.uwaterloo.ca/SelfService/ResetVoiceMailPassword. A VPN connection is required when accessing from off-campus. (See Virtual Private Network (VPN) for more information on VPN.)

  2. Type in the email associated with your OfficeLinx voicemail in the form of your 8-character UWaterloo username@uwaterloo.ca (i.e. j25rober@uwaterloo.ca)

  3. Select the password you wish to reset. There are two different passwords that can be reset during this process. Be sure to select the correct one.

    1. Reset Voicemail Password is your voicemail Personal Identification Number (PIN) that you use to access your voicemail over the phone

    2. Reset Unifed Communication (UC) Application Password is the password to access your voicemail on the client web interface

  4. Fill in the captcha text box with the characters from the image

  5. Click Send a Request

  6. An email will be sent to you regarding the requested password reset (and for which one, Voicemail or UC Application)

  7. Click the link in the email to finish the password reset process

  8. If you delete the email or take no action, your existing password and/or PIN will still be in effect

Note

If you receive the following warning while trying to reset the password: No matching record found for this email. Please try a different email.” please submit a request and include your extension number and the associated email. An email can only be associated to one extension number.
