When setting up multiple versions, you will need to specify a subset of students enrolled in each assessment, before the creating the assessment. The students could be enrolled by name using the Custom option or by section.

Select the assignment. Choose Students from the left hand menu.

2. Click the Manage Students button in the top right.

3. Click the drop down arrow and choose Custom…

4. Manage the students in the next screen , click Save.
