If you encounter the “502 bad gateway” error, IST requires the following information to investigate the issue:
Your Username
Your IP address, which can be found be searching “What is my IP address” on Google
The date and time you received the error.
The server you are on. To obtain the server information, go to a Quest page and press Ctrl + Shift + J. This will open a new page where you can copy the information next to “Application Server”. Please refer to the image below for guidance.
Once you have collected this information, please send an email to sarecord@uwaterloo.ca with all the details.
