    5. Schema Name – The name of the project. eg. Campus Wellness Lab

    6. Project Key – Acronym for the website. eg. CWLAB

    7. Managers – lgchase, vcozzari, cw-tech + the supervisor of whatever the space is being created for.

  3. IST will confirm and email a link to the space once it has been created.

  4. Bookmark the link.

On the left is the schema tree. It holds all the objects you add into Jira Assets.

  • This is where you will be making the will have your database / inventory and an index dropdown.

  • In the index dropdown will be all your headings and subheadings of what your objects belong to.

Making the Database / Inventory (Main Page)

  1. In the schema tree, press the + icon.

  1. In the popup window: 

    1. Enter a namefor the object type. 

    2. Select an icon for the object type. 

    3. If creating a sub-heading, select the parent heading of what you want it to fall under.

    4. Enter a description for the object type. (either Database or Inventory).

    5. Select an icon. 

    6. Parent type is none.

    7. Enter a description for the object type (optional).

  2. Click create.

  3. From the schema tree, click on the heading you have just created.

  4. Click the 3 dots next to create object.

  5. Click inheritance.

  6. Turn pass all attributes to child object types as on.

  7. Click Back to your page.

Making the Index

  1. In the schema tree, press the + icon

  1. In the popup window: 

    1. Enter the name as Index

    2. Select an icon.

    3. Parent type is none.

    4. No description needed.

  2. Click create.

  3. From the schema tree, click on the index heading you have just created.

  4. Click the 3 dots next to create object.

  5. Click inheritance.

  6. Turn pass all attributes to child object types as on.

  7. Click Back to your page.
