Connect the laptop to power using its power cord and not the docking station.
Sign into computer with your bang account (e.g., !cw-tech) so you have Administrator access.
Open a browser and go to https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/ca/en/
Find the system model of the computer (e.g. Lenovo T14). This is usually found on the bottom/underside of the laptop.
Click Browse Product:
Click Laptops:
Use the dropdown bars to choose the series and subseries of the laptop. This will re-direct to the product home page for the laptop.
Click Driver’s & Software:
Scan the computer for updates and install the updates.
Go back to the Dell Support main page: https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-ca
Type Dell Performance Dock – WD19DCS or Dell Dock – WD15 into the box (depending on which one you have) under Identify your product and click Search:
Click Drivers & Downloads:
Scroll down to the list of available downloads (there should be two for the WD19DCS and five for the WD15):
Download and install the Ethernet Controller Driver first.
If you are troubleshooting the Dell Dock WD15, install the Realtek USB Audio DCH Driver, Realtek USB Audio Legacy Driver and Realtek USB Audio Driver next.
Then download and install the Firmware Update Utility.
